Dr Clare Thompson won the gold medal for Great Britain in the race across the Gobi desert in China!!
Clare recently took part in the ‘Gobi March 2017’ race which was a week of challenges, achievements, celebrations, tears, intense heat, freezing nights, steep climbs and sandy desert in the heart of Xinjiang Autonomous region of China. She finished 1st in the run across the desert completing 250 kilometres / 155 miles over a period of seven days.
